After a decade of conflict, Yemen remains one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. Over 4.8 million people have been forced to flee and 19 million urgently need assistance.

Ongoing violence continues to uproot families. At the same time, the effects of climate change are adding to the crisis. Flash floods are destroying homes and livelihoods, leaving many without shelter, food or clean water. These catastrophes also leave communities vulnerable to water-borne diseases like cholera.

Yemen also hosts over 60,000 refugees and asylum seekers, mostly from Somalia and Ethiopia. Many live in overcrowded areas with little access to basic services.

UNHCR is distributing relief items such as blankets, mattresses and kitchen sets, and providing cash assistance so families can pay for shelter repairs, food and other essentials. But more support is urgently needed.

Donate now to help families in Yemen survive this crisis.
